When you buy a puppy from the Goodmans K-9 Companions our relationship does not end with the delivery of your healthy puppy.
While we do our absolute best to raise 100% healthy puppies the fact is that puppies are living creatures just like us and illness does happen. We take preventative measures to minimize common ailments in puppies but a puppy’s health depends on many factors such as diet, exercise, environment, genetics, and many other factors. However, if something goes wrong we guarantee to try to make it right. within 12 months of age
We may never be able to guarantee that nothing will happen to a puppy but we will always continue to strive and guarantee that we are doing our best to get you the puppy of your dreams happy and healthy.
Our puppies’ health is checked by a licensed veterinarian, all puppies with up to date on vaccinations and proper deworming. Additionally, we ask new puppy owners to take their new puppy to the vet within 3 days after receiving it to ensure the puppy is healthy.
The seller certifies that the puppy is current on vaccinations and de-worming, and is, to the best of the sellers knowledge in good physical health for this guarantee to be valid, it is the buyers responsibility to take the puppy to a state licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup for an examination, at the buyers expense. If the veterinarian finds the puppy in good health OR if the buyer fails to have an examination within 72 hours, the seller will assume no further responsibility.
Should the veterinarian find a serious health concern (not to include: umbilical or inguinal hernia, cherry eye, undescended testicle, under or overbite) with the puppy, the buyer must notify the seller within 72 hours and provide a written diagnosis from the examining veterinarian.
The buyer agrees to make the puppy available to the sellers veterinarian for a second opinion within 2 days of notification of a health concern. If the same health concern is detected by the sellers veterinarian, the buyer may exchange the puppy for a similar one, pending availability. Treatable conditions do not warrant an exchange of puppy. Should the buyer decide to keep the puppy, all expense and responsibility will be the buyers from this point forward. Seller is not responsible for any vet bills or expenses. This guarantee does not cover death, illness or injury resulting from abuse or neglect on the part of the buyer.
